Just updated my Mid-2013 MacBook Air to macOS Sierra 10.12.2, and noticed the tracking speed of the pointer, when using the inbuilt trackpad, was quite a bit faster than it was pre-update.

Anything in this update that might have affected that?

I don't notice tracking speed changing on my machine but mine is always set to fastest. Maybe the update reset your trackpad preferences for tracking speed? Check your System Preferences --> Trackpad and move the slider for tracking speed around to adjust the tracking speed.

Definitely noticed this on my 2012 mini - way faster after reboot so something got overridden, but just moving the slider reset it to where it should have been.
