10.12.3 breaks Spotlight dialogue

Is it just me? After installing 10.12.3, I can pull up the Spotlight dialogue as usual with Cmd-Space. But the window doesn't accept any keyboard input. Keyboard works fine everywhere else. I honestly hadn't realized how much I use Spotlight before having it stop working!

(15" tbMBP, by the way.)

Maybe try to install the combo update, just in case something went wrong...

Fine here. Something you have running on launch causing issues probably? Close out of apps, check your Login Items.

I have the same machine and this is a constant issue for me, did you ever find any fix for this? @Baldrake

It's so irrirtating, I have to end up restarting my machine to rectify the problem.

Yes and no... I tried shutting down all of my apps and many services, and the problem remained. But after rebooting, it went away, and hasn't returned. So not really sure what the problem is. It didn't seem to be related to a specific app.
