Updated to 10.12.4 beta 3 today, and my ethernet stopped working. WiFi works fine. This is a mid-3012 MBP (15", 12 GB, 500GB HD, Hires screen, 2.6 i7.)

I found a 2016 thread right before Sierra came out and tried those tips- deleting ethernet and recreating it, Deleting NetworkInterfaces.plist and recreating it. I tried using the USB ethernet from my MBA and that didn't work either. Rest SMC and PRAM.

I've run out of ideas. I'd be fine if I could just roll back to the previous beta but I don't know how I could do that. Any suggestions on things that may work?

First off, I recommend sending all the above to Apple. Use Feedback Assistant. I assume you'd like for it to work in the final release.
Second, without having a version of the installer for a previous beta, or being able to find one, there's no way of rolling back. However, you can exit the beta program altogether, and go back to the not-beta version of macOS.

I was having issues with Ethernet on my 2015 5k imac 27 on the previous beta 2. It would work fine for a few minutes then slow down to a crawl until I turned on wifi. Once I turned on wifi, my internet was speedy (I have 300mbps service). I could then turn off wifi and my Ethernet would work for awhile. I did all of the recommended fixes but nothing. So far, I haven't had any issue on beta 3 but I can relate to the frustration! Now I'm worried beta 3 didn't fix whatever the problem was!

I found the issue, and thankfully, it was completely unrelated to the beta- it was simply bizarre timing. One of the networks guys was changing cabling and accidentally knocked out the line I am set up on. He did this while the Mac was doing the updating. We had a ... conversation,,, about reading the tags first, and making sure he never knocks out the IT office.
