Anyone found a solution to apps that need the "Legacy version" of Java?

I have quite a few apps that depend on this version of Java - apple did the same thing with High Sierra and then later allowed Java 6 to work with later versions of HS

Maybe this time it is dropped for good?

I think I posted too quickly - just finished updating to Mojave 10.14 Beta (18A326h)

Installed Java 8 jdk and also the legacy apple version 6

No issues installing after the beta update to the newest version build (18A326h) - legacy apps are working too (some of them)
