I'm normally an early adopter with any upgrade available - this time around I've sat back.

At this point 10.14 works fine on my new Mac Mini....zero issues for my daily life.

Is there any compelling reason to upgrade to 10.15?

Just curious.

No.
Stay where you are, at least for now.
Unless you're willing to confront... "issues"...

It looks like there are no compelling features that matter to your use case. I did update from Mojave to Catalina, and found no features that I care about. One majpr issue for the Mac Mini is that Catalina broke HDMI when using a 4K tv for a monitor, which is still slightly broken in 10.15.2.

Dropping 32 bit program support is another major issue for some.

At this point, I'd recommend skipping Catalina, and waiting until 3 months after the next major OS release, maybe in December 2020.
