10.15.4 unexplained problems with Airplay?

Since "upgrading" to 10.15.4 (from .3) I'm finding it really difficult to connect to my Marantz amplifier using Airplay. Worked fine before the "upgrade", nothing changed on the amp, so has to be .4 related.

Anyone else suffering this?

Also had a crash overnight; system started up when I tried to log in. Damn monitor driver issues still there (Cinema display not turned on when waking/logging on); screens still flicker with hue changes.

Resorted to plugging a cable into the Mac.

Am so hacked off with these Catalina reliability problems.

Airplay works fine from my iPhone; so the amp hasn't mysteriously developed a problem at the same time as the "upgrade" to .4.

When I try to connect from the Macbook pro 16" (which worked before the update) it seems to get the Marantz amp to go into "Music Server" mode.

*Might* have had an issue with a Little Snitch rule. After reviewing some rules, I removed one of the airplay rules and it is now connecting.

Alas I didn't note which rule it was. That rule had been in place for some time, long pre-dating the 10.15.4 update.

I'm having a different issue with AirPlay since updating to 10.15.4, related to my MBP colors distorting when connecting. The update seems to have jacked a lot of things up.
