Given all the issues I had relgated my 2017 MBP to not being a daily driver. However, at the end of the Catalina journey I was wondering how many people have a 4 port 2017 MBP that they are using with an elgato3 dock and may have a Thunderbolt monitor and a HDMI connection off the dock? My concern is that the the various releases of Catalina broke so much in the external monitor space that I am loking for some one with a similar set up that may already be at 10.15.7 to inform me of the experience and does the HDMI monitor sitll function at 4k@60Hz with .7?

Appreciate any feedback.

Come on someone has to have an elgato dock they were sold at Apple Shops? Sure someone has a MBP running 10.15.7? The last vesion of MACOS that seemed to have run properly is 10.14.5 with external monitors. Its a sad fact when you can wait a year for a OS to try and attain what it once had but looking at Big Sur I'm thinking either 10.15.7 or returning to 10.14.5.

OK anyone with an elgato dockthunderbolt 3 using 10.15.7 with 2 external monitors at all? Surely I can not be the only one in the world?

Wow not a single person has an elgato thunderbolt3 dock and is running 10.15.7. I feel like a lonely outsider.
