I just moved from iOS9 to 10.2.

I have 127 apps waiting to update. A few updated and then they all stopped. It's been stuck this way for 3 days. Old apps won't open and I can't delete them.

I also can't download any new apps. It goes to the circle with a square icon like it's going to start downloading, but never starts.

I'm on fast wifi, have 59GB available, I've restarted the phone several times...

Anyone else experience this?

Any fixes before I head to the Apple Store?

New iOS -- did you do a Reset Network Settings.

Try updating from Purchased instead of Updates.

Try connecting to a fast VPN (it can be your work VPN or a free VPN) and update again.

I've had this happen on various devices and various versions of iOS over the last couple years. Sometimes it gets stuck for weeks at a time. And then it will start working again out of the blue.

I don't even think resetting settings helped me in the past. That and the sheer volume of issues that seem to require that as a troubleshooting step these days is making iOS a frustrating platform to deal with anymore.

Try signing out from the app store and restating the phone, then sign back into the App Store and restart again.

You can also try deleting the app, then re-downloading, and/or reset the App Store (tap on "updates" 10 times to reset., u'll be bought back to the front page)

Then again perhaps that is the main problem... If u have 127 apps to download, I think Apple won't allow downloading of more than a few at a time.... otherwise you'd be technically 'hogging their bandwidth" some others would suffer.

Download one at a time. It's dumb,, but it works.(unless there is a connection issue)..

"Fast Wi-fi" would be Wireless n or a/c.. you can't get faster than that.... but the actual download is based on what Apple limits, no matter how fast an internet connection is.
