so I got Tiger running on my Pismo today:)
the only problem that it is a little bit slower starting up than usual, any reasons why?
also, the battery says "calculating"for a long time.the time doesn't want to show up
other than that,it works great.

during the installation it was stuck on installing canon printers for around 20 minutes,I decided to unplug it and see if it worked, and the thing got installed.
now I am wondering is there a way I can see if all of it got installed?

Wait, what do you mean by "unplug it" during the installation?

What are you talking about? You mean you don't just yank the cord out of the wall when your Mac freezes up? I do believe it's aptly called the 'Pull that sucker out and pray' method. :D

ha,thats what i did.
and it worked.
except for the itsy bisty problems.
so is there anyway to make sure it got installed completely?

Woah, you pulled the plug in the middle of a system install?

Chances are that you're probably missing some bits. If possible, I'd actually think about doing a clean install over the top of the current one. Cutting power in the middle of such a major install is kinda asking for trouble.

It is usually slower on the first startup since it has to run its opening video, and also Spotlight has to index ur disk, so that takes time, that can slow things down.

i would try to reinstall without the printer drivers....you can install them later...

i just got pnather running om my wallstreet...congrats!
