And it's been like that for 10 minutes. I clicked the "x" next to the progress bar and when I click the "Download Update" button again it just goes back to "Less than a minute remaining".

Fixed, I didn’t realize that after the download finishes and you see the update thing again, don’t click it, instead look at the top right you will see a little notification that is prompting you to restart, hit that and the update will start

Apple's servers are very slow, downloading now, but seems to be stuck at 2.5 GB out of 4.5 GB.

Apple Watch 6.1 also took its time.

Let's see if they can pull off another Homepod disaster tonight

Same situation here, updated downloaded like 30 mins ago and still showing "less than 1 min"

Have you tried restarting your mac?

Hi, My AW update went fine and smooth but catalina took ages and now it's downloaded but stuck at less than 1 min as I mentioned above.

It was a very slow download. It also become stuck for quite a while at the end of the download for me, but I just let it be and eventually the Mac restarted and it updated.
