Slightly confused ahead of any future i pad recycle/upgrade.

What do I check to establish if my ipad 10.5 64gb silver is 1st or 2nd gen.
Model MQF02B/A

Correct, the 10.5 came out in June of 2017, that's the only 10.5 there is.

Thanks all I only asked as o2 uk are offering recycle with 1st and 2nd gen 10.5's

I think it's because the way they were released. The 10.5 shares pretty much everything other than screen size with the second gen 12.9. So while there's only one generation of iPad Pro 10.5, there are two gens of iPad Pros in general and the 10.5 uses the second generation of hardware.

At least, that's the best I can come up with that makes sense, but yes, they're definitely talking about the 10.5 that you have.

Excellent explanation.
Hope I can maybe avoid next weeks I pad-though 10.5 has proved to be enjoyable
