10.5.7 network problem!!

updated to 10.5.7 last night and now this morning when i tried to connect to my network it showed i was connected and still does but when i go to any website it says its not connected to the internet.

my wireless vista machine is working
it worked last night
im posting this via tether off my iphone

i need help!

Try restarting your router (unplug for 30 some-odd seconds then plug back in).

Kinda basic but have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting or rebooting the computer?

Also try rebooting your ISP modem...not sure what tether is so maybe you are already proving out your modem/router...
