Hi all .

I have a new Ipad pro 10.5 2017 with WIFI and Cellular it has a build in embedded Apple sim and a sim card tray the sim card tray is unlocked and always has been since it first came out of the box despite O2 saying its locked but they sent a request though to unlock it and it came back as unlocked despite itunes on my pc not giving any confirmation its unlocked i have called Apple and they said it is unlocked

Here is the problem I am trying to use the embedded Apple sim and it should give a list of carriers like on here https://www.apple.com/uk/ipad/apple-sim/ but mine gives nothing the screen where there should be carriers is blank i have contacted Apple and a few uk carriers such as AOW & Gigsky and EE and no one seems to know any thing about embedded Apple sim,

I have uploaded some pics,

Any one have any experience with this mysterious apple sim, I have all the number on the Ipad such as IMEI and the CSN which i am told is the Apple sim number build in

Not sure.. is there a setting for cellular data somewhere you have turned off?

I have just bought a similar iPad, and haven’t set up cellular access yet. On checking the same setting, I do get a list of options...:

Where did you get your ipad was it from apple and not from a carrier such as o2 also can you post screen shots of the data prices and options from always on wireless and ee from the ipad thanks[/QUOTE]

Always on wireless is much cheaper and when your allowance runs out i think your can still get online for the rest of the time you have left of the 30days but at a slower throttled speed,

EE is expensive on there a standard EE Data pay as you go sim would give you better rates 10GB for £19 and 20GB for £25 all for 30days and the pay as you go data EE sims also have the option to buy 10GB or 20GB Or 30GB but will last for 90days aswell

Thanks for the screen shot looks like always on wireless is the one to go for how do you pay is it credit card or itunes account??

I have the O2 sim in my it give 20gb at full speed then you can stay online at a throttled speed for the rest of the month,

Thanks again
