I just can't find a case I like. I have been using the smart keyboard cover for my 10.5, but it lacks any affordance for the pencil. I thought I found what I wanted in a logitech slim combo, but having just spent a day with it, it's going back. Why? IT'S SO DAMNED SLIPPERY. Seriously, what designer approved this? Do they have leather desks? If I use it without the keyboard, it slides around the table as I try to write on it with the pencil. If I use the keyboard, it also wants to slide. Holding it as a reading device, it's also slippery. Had they just used a rubbery surface, this would be a good form factor for me. To make it what I want, I'm going to have to affix things to it to make it "grippy." Ugh.
I keep looking, but so far these requirements have yet to be met:
- let me prop up so I can watch something
- provide grip so I can hold it to read
- provide a place to put the damned pencil
- don't add a ton of weight
I can carry around a keyboard separately -- it's not a critical part of the equation, but the other things are. Someone must have solved this somewhere.
