This happened after I installed the supplemental update. It was working fine during the initial restart, then the computer was idle and went to sleep. When I woke it up and started Safari again, the address bar and other features disappeared. How can I fix this?

Try the View menu > Show Toolbar. Not sure what could've made it hidden in the first place - maybe you did it by accident?

Thanks, that worked! I'm pretty sure I didn't do it on accident, but it doesn't matter now that I got it fixed.
