Hey. I know this is probably a long shot in asking but I had horrible battery life in Mountain Lion that cause me to return to Lion. I need my computer on the go and I don't want to loose the battery life I had. I was wondering if any users of an early 2011 Macbook Pro 15" have upgraded to 10.8.3 and what there battery experiences were like. Has 10.8.3 restored battery life to this model or is it still guzzling.

I switched to MBP 15 early 2011, 1-2 weeks ago. I installed SSD from my previous mbp 13 mid09, so it is not fresh system.

It runs OSX 10.8.3 with battery life up to 7 hours, depends on usage. In my opinion this is really good.

Might be worth checking activity monitor to see if any processes running wild eating up your CPU %.
