10.9.4 update, any 10.9.2-like problems with non-apple video cards

So 10.9.2 weirdly killed support for lots of non-apple video cards, magically fixed by 10.9.3.

Can anyone that install 10.9.4 on a Mac Pro with non apple cards confirm it works and doesn't suffer the 10.9.2 weirdness?

I usually test using target disk mode from my laptop. Easiest way to tell without having to roll back your install. Will test when I get home and post results on my XFX 7870
 
At least my flashed EVGA Geforce 680 GTX with 2GB VRAM—I guess it’s save to assume that this card is identical to the Mac Edition—works like before the update. Of course the nVidia control panel informs me about the missing nVidia driver for 10.9.4. But in the past this was only a matter of a few days until nVidia delivered their own web-driver.

CUDA-z is working. Though I don’t know if any more demanding CUDA enabled apps—like Adobe AE—might need a correct combo of nVidia display driver and compute driver to work correctly.

So far, so good.
 
Works

I've got a Mac Pro 3,1 with an unflashed Sapphire Radeon HD 6870 1024 MB and everything works great with 10.9.4.

Running two VisionTek Products 7750 Eyefinity 6 2GB DDR5 PCI Express cards (has 6 minidisplayports).

Card is finally rock solid as of 10.9.3. Runs up to 6 4k screens per card. Card is low power draw, it requires *NO* additional power plugs, runs on PCI slot juice alone. You could slap 4 of these in an old Mac pro and drive up to 24 4k screens.

It's around the performance of a 5770 (slightly worse), just taking far less juice, and driving far more screens.

New driver still doesn't fix sleep issue. Might just have to try a fresh install and see if it's something with my system. Odd.

New driver still doesn't fix the following issues:

  1. When attempting to use the first DVI slot the computer will startup normally but when the spinning wheel finishes and user is transitioned to the finder the screen turns black
  2. When using the second DVI slot because the first doesn't work because of the above issue the system shows 2 displays present. User can slightly remedy this problem by selecting "mirrored mode" from displays.

Everything is running great on my 5,1 with 7870 :)

How are we supposed to replicate this issue? I have a 680 in my 12 cores 2010 and tried replacing my 2 ACD 27" with my 2 DVI driven 27" Samsung LED displays from my 2009 6 cores Mac Pro and I can't get it to happen... Same thing with my 2009 Mac Pro using its GTX 570...

Sorry forgot to point out I'm using a 4GB GTX 680 which seems to be the problem as MVC pointed out here: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1740043/

Ahhh, I was about to install OS X from scratch on a USB flash drive to see if its because I tweaked nVidia drivers to install on any Mac computers that I couldnt recreate the error... Even tried it on my MBP retina with the retina display and a 27" LED display and a 27" thunderbolt display :p you have a flashed 4Gb GTX 680 or just a PC that isn't flashed? Thanks.

Yeah I flashed my 4GB GTX 680 using the instructions here: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1603260/

It had been fine for the passed year until these last couple updates from apple
 
My second screen is black, just like with 10.9.3, both on Apple and Nvidia drivers. I have flashed GTX 680 card. On 10.9.3 I had to revert to 10.9.2 kext to get it working.
