Until yesterday I have had superb performance with 10.9.5 on my Mac Pro 4,1.
yesterday I installed Yosemite 10.10.5 on a spare hard drive and since then have had Bluetooth problems in 10.9.
( I have reset SMC and PRAM and deleted com.applebluetooth prefs ).
I have two identical sets of Bluetooht head sets ( same colour too )- I need to give each one a different reference name.
eg : I put a rubber band on one set and named it "Band Headset "
Normally in System/Bluetooth prefs pane I can highlight one headset and use the mouse right button which up until now allowed me to rename each set.
This ability is now gone.
Also, after deleting both sets from Bluetooth prefs and re-pairing them .. neither automatically connects on turning them on.
Anyone have any idea?
EDIT : I remembered that I have Bluetooth Explorer which has allowed me to apply specific names to each of my idential headsets but I am still curious as to why the ability to " right click" paired Bluetooth items to re-name them disappeared.
