tap tap revenge 2 is an awesome free game definately worth downloading.

Tap defence is also a good free game.

Here are a few apps that I use all the time.

The Weather Channel
WSJ
New York Times
USA Today
ESPN ScoreCenter

Stanza is still my favourite of all time. it gets used hours per day and dozens of hours per week. i love the ability to convert my documents to easily read iphone formatted pages, a live store and all the free post 70 year books available. great, great app.

Here's a quick list of some apps that i've downloaded:

regular apps:
the weather channel
sportacular (got a better rating than the ESPN app, so i got it)
ringtone (record and produce ringtones!)

games:
dactyl
ragdoll lite
shift lite
rope 'n' fly
(all my games are the lite version. they're really fun but i assume the paid version would be even better)

Lessee - I second Stanza - I've had some real finds in the online catalog.

I use the Weather Channel, NYTimes, and the Twitteriffic apps every day. Then there's Sol Free for solitaire and Flood-it free games.

For learning Japanese there's the free Kotoba! dictionary, ShinKanji Lite, Japanese essentials Lite, and Word Power Lite - I don't think I'm going to be upgrading those last 3 (I have other full apps that I did buy).

Oh, Distant Suns Lite! Great astronomy app (I upgraded that one).

If you're of the Liberal persuasion, you'll like the Huff Post app, too.

Well, I might be biased, but I would definetly recommend iAssociate Lite to anyone out there interested in word games. Another game that is really enjoyable is TapDefense. And of course, don't leave home without the Facebook app
