Why not much love for the G5? That design was the foundation from then till now. :(

Wow, I had forgotten how ugly those first iMacs were. Of course, back then they were the best, but looking back, they're hideous.

Texas, unfortunately.

I have to disagree. I'm typing this on my Bondi Blue iMac G3 233 MHz with 32 MB of RAM and Mac OS 8.6.

Looking back, I beleive that the iMac G3 was what got me started on Macs. We got these when we were in kindergarten (I'm showing my age. :p :D) and I couldn't get over how different they were. I was used to those beige boxes running Windows 95/98 with the monitor seperate from the actual computer. And that delightful little mouse! Every one of us loved those mouses. (This was before we had the mental capacities to take sides on the Mac vs. PC debate:rolleyes:)

Without the iMac G3, I beleive Apple would have failed, or at least not become as popular as they are today, and I would still be using a PC drooling over how "cool" Vista is with my lowly XP.

I still beleive these are the best design in the world, even today.

And even though by the end of this month (Leopard, you know) they will offically be outdated, I know there are many people who will continue to use it for the next three or four years and be happy, and including myself.

In fact, I can't even see the youtube video because this iMac needs more RAM (32 MB just doesn't cut it these days. :)) and probably OS 9 to veiw it properly.

But without this iMac being introduced, I wouldn't have a mini to view the video on. :)

Great video applemax. I really enjoyed watching it. :)

Or the mental capacity to release that those hockey-puck mice were actually extremely in-ergonomic. :p (But they did look extremely cool; I'll give you that.)
