That’s like 20 reasonably sized iPhone pictures. It’s next to nothing if you steam music/video/etc.

If you’re US based just the ads and trackers imbedded on websites will chew through that in a matter of hours.

Is it a lot of cellular data ? If I just use it to browse the web? Turn off everything else.

Really depends on how much browsing you do and the content of the sites you visit. These days, it seems reasonable.

Edit: I totally misread the original post - I was reading it as being a question as to whether using 100MB just browsing was an error in usage calculation. My bad. I don't think 100MB would be enough by any means.

100MB today? Only works if you browse WAP sites (plain text and ridiculously small images). Safari In iOS doesn’t even have option to enable text-only mode (reader mode will still load decent size pictures).
I’d say realistically only Apple Watch can live with 100MB/month today.

I don’t know on iOS, but opera has a size reduction setting to save bandwidth

If you disable every single image and styling of a website and only use HTML mode for browsing? Yeah, 100MB would be fine to live on.

Unfortunately, the modern internet isn't that simple by default, though I admit viewing the pure innards of a site is pretty nostalgic (even if I wasn't even born in that time period).

🤔 100Mb? I have a Yearly subscription of 20 Gb per month.
Half the time I use my iPad to access the Net for my Mac Mini. (Modem takes minutes to start versus seconds for the iPad)
