Can you guys reproduce these UI bugs? I guarantee you can.
First of all, have Screen Time widget ready on your Widgets. And clear Settings from your Task Switcher, just in case.
Here are the steps to reproduce the bugs:
1) Open Settings
2) Search “iCloud” on the Search bar, then tap iCloud from the search results. Wait until it finishes opening your iCloud storage stats.
3) Go back home (swipe up or press home button).
4) Go to your Widgets, tap Screen Time.
At this point, the OS will fail displaying your Screen Time and instead it will open your iCloud storage stats.
Let’s continue.
5) Swipe back twice from the iCloud storage stats, bringing you to the main Settings.
At this point, there will be x icon hovering on the top right of your screen when you scroll up and down the Settings.
6) Tap one of the sub-Settings (I chose General for this experiment).
7) Swipe back to the main Settings, and you’ll notice the Search Bar at the top is now gone.
Please let me know if you can successfully reproduce all of the bugs.
To recap, there will be 3 bugs you’ll find in the process:
1) Screen Time fails to open.
2) x icon keep hovering at the top right.
3) Search bar completely disappears.
If you can (and I guarantee you can, if you do every step correctly), can someone please report this to Apple?
I’m too lazy to do it haha. Thank you!
