Is there any way right now to verify what type of drive these are that are coming in the new C2D 17inchers?

I have seen alotve speculation about the 160gb 5400 drives and confirmation that they are Hitachis. I am curious as to what the 100gb drives are, are they the same as the ones in the CD MBPs which I believe were seagates? Or has mac moved their harddrives over to Hitachis and if so are they one of the higher ranked drives listed on this comparison chart.

Thanks in advance!

They will be whatever supplier Apple has on contract. Apple never guarantees the manufacturer or model # of their components and are liable to change them month to month or week to week depending on supply, demand and cost. As long as it meets the advertised spec, that's all they have to do.
