Ok I know that the current iMacs have 800 DDR2 RAM, but I am stupid and I don't get why you wouldn't be able to use the 1066 which is faster right? I see that the system bus is 1066 so I thought why can't it be done? Any thoughts or reasons why it can or can't?

If you put 1066Mhz memory in, it will run at 800Mhz unless you OC it. The board is set at 800Mhz by default. Waste of money.
