Does anyone have advice on installing a 1080Ti on a Mac Pro 2012, or a easy to follow guide...

I'm happy enough to by adapters and what not (which I think is what you need for the extra power) but less confident with soldering and complex CLI fixes to get the damn think working with it...

I'd like to use Cinema4D and Octane with it once its up and running...

Any advice would be appreciated (including balanced views of 'don't do it'...)

IMO, EVGA Powerlink is the easiest way to power a 1080Ti on cMP (except those heavy factory OCed card).

Anyway, everything you need to know is covered in the sticky Nvidia thread.
