Hi folks. I needed to upgrade the ram on my quad-core i7 Mac mini late 2012, and was looking for a low priced 16GB 2x8GB. I read that CAS latency of 9 is ideal, but it appears that this 11 works all right (based on reviews and a few posts in MacRumors Forums).

I just bought 2x Team 8GB 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1600 Laptop Memory Model TSD38192M1600C11-E

This is a shame as I paid $86.99 in January of 2013 for 16 GB of Crucial DDR3 1600 MHz RAM.

I paid less than 80 dollars for 16 gb of Team ram back in January of 2013... The price of ram is outrageous.

I put it into my iMac when I got it a few months ago :D

What is even more annoying is that it is the older parts that are skyrocketing. RAM is like copper, it is up one day down the next.
