High Sierra on 5,1
Just installed a Sonnet Solo 10g NIC.
On Windows, no trouble.
On High Sierra, the transfer speeds are faster than 1gb/s but slower than Windows, which was getting full 10gb/s.
Also, every 10 seconds, the transfer freezes for around 5 seconds.
Unfortunately, with the sub-par performance and constant hang ups, this isn't much of an improvement over 1gb/e.
Can someone help me out with troubleshooting this?

Windows 10 is on an internal SATA SSD. High Sierra is on a SATA SSD via PCI card

Are you seeing the slowness on an SMB network share? If so, try to disable client signing, this is a notorious problem with Mac file sharing speeds. Eventually they fixed it, I can't remember if High Sierra still has this problem.
