10th pre-ordered 24 order-confirm germany

Hey folks yust wanted to tell my story.

I pre-orderd early on 10th may,
I got shipping confirmation on 24th may
but still no tracking information for the given tracking number nor reference number.

So today i called up Apple-Call Center in Germany. The lady told me the sending is maybe via tnt.

The e-mail confirmation sys it is tnt. So the lady was not shure if it is.

She redirected me to TNT Service center. The guy there told me that i'm the between 10-20th costumer from apple that has this problem.

He told me that all the orders from apple are not yet in the system. maybe they will be picked up this evening or even tomorrow evening, because the even don't have billing information from apple at this time.

i asked about shipping times from different warehouses.

from netherlands to germany, overnight express 1 day so shipped wednesday could arrive thursday
from prague to germany, overnight express 1 day so shipped wednesday could arrive thursday
from china to germany, express would take 2-3 day because of import from not EU.

i'm not shure it arrives in time

If you are unable to track, your iPad is coming with TNT Nederland as is mine. They will get here in time, they know what they are doing! In theory they could dispatch them Thursday evening and would probably still arrive on time. But yes they will probably leave the Apple facility in Holland some time this afternoon and transported into Germany. So some might get them tomorrow, but more likely Friday. One thing is for sure, you will have yours on Friday! :) Also, there is no point phoning as they don't know anything. Apple just haven't sent them yet. It is like trying to track a parcel a friend of yours is going to send in a few hours. The Versendet message is a little misleading.
 
The shipped message is really misleading,
what i'm conecerned about is that apple is not giving the customer the right information.
When getting the information the parcel leaves, all companys I order stuff send the billing information and the tracking systems say,

1) billing information provided
next step, waiting for pick up.

This is famillar to me with different german parcel services like UPS, DHL


What i also think is strange that the apple lady was not shure it is shipped via TNT
 
Check on the US Store http://store.apple.com/us and login at the top right. Once you have it should say who you are shipped with, mine is TNT Nederland B.V.

I would be patient with the tracking things, they just haven't shipped them properly yet and so there is nothing to track. By Shipped or Versendet, they'll just mean it is in a crate or pallet ready to go. Just sit tight, they are not supposed to be delivered until Friday and it is currently 10.20 on Wednesday, that's plenty of time for them to travel 3 hours (I say three hours as I live in Paderborn and they are shipping from near Eindhoven).
 
Can be quiet frustrating, can't it?

I've got a shipping notion and a tracking number for UPS (Netherlands) which won't work either.

But don't worry, it was rather similar in the us on launch day. Apple must have like at least 100.000 orders to process and ship and their highest priority is getting them delivered (tracking seems to be secondary for them).

I hereby state that I will not continue to check apple's or UPS' framing every five minutes! I mean it's sort of embarrassing for a grown up...
(and I don't have to, because I just downloaded the "lieferungen" app that will check for me :rolleyes:)
 
Hi guys,

I ordered an iPad on the 10th, got the Shipped e-mail on the 21st, but the supplied tracking numbers haven't been working.

However, it seems that in the last 30 minutes, Apple have debited my account, so things seem to be moving.

Based in Frankfurt, so hope to get it before Friday!
 
Have you guys had your TNT tracking updated? Nothing much has happened, just stating they are being sent some point today.

Mine was updated about an hour ago. It says:
