Good morning.

Are we to resign ourselves to the fact this will never be smooth again ?

Force touching on home screen still producing awful choppiness & stutter on my 6s+. Had this problem since beta 4.

Anyone still the same on 11.0.1 ?

Cheers

I don’t have any choppiness, though the frame rate of the animation definitely isn’t 60 FPS. Have you restored your phone with an IPSW installation via iTunes? That fixed a lot of choppiness and sluggishness for me on 11.0. (Took 11.0.1 as an OTA and it has been mostly fine. Some slowdowns and animation issues here and there)

My 6s+ is fine on 11.0.1.

As above, animation isn't exactly 60fps but its not choppy

Yep, it’s definitely dropping frames on my iPhone 7, 11.0.1.

Sadly, X.X.1 updates rarely fix things like animations. they fix more critical issues. 11.1 will focus more on the polish of things like animations. Should be out next month if past years are any indication.
