11.0.2 bricked my phone

i updated through itunes. error 5. phone is bricked and has to be factory restored.

update: restarted computer and update was pushed through itunes

Don't update through iTunes. Why do you need to do so? OTA update is fast and easy. Most problems involving software updates I've seen here are because of iTunes.

I've always updated through iTunes without a problem, in fact most issues I've seen here are the opposite - OTA updates going wrong.
