Anyone else have an issue after upgrading to 11.2, when I close my lid my bluetooth audio drops and my external monitor goes black. This didn't happen before 11.2

I'm having a lot issues with my display after upgrading to 11.2, I have a LG 38GN950-B connected to M1 Mac mini (16/512) via type-c to HDMI. For some reason, my monitor refresh rate won't save, always reverting to 30hz after restarting. luckily switchResX can solve this issue.

Another issue I'm experiencing, which didn't happen in 11.1 is when the monitor goes to sleep after locking the Mac. When waking up the monitor in lock state, the image displayed in not full screen. changing the resolution seems to fix this....

Wish I didn't upgrade to 11.2 now :(

Weird, I noticed on mine it wasn't powering the laptop after the update, nor was it displaying the external monitor when the lid was closed. I power cycled the monitor, problems resolved. Hmmm..

I use my M1 Mac mini with 2 of the new OWC TB3 Docks and the LG 38WN95C-W monitor. The monitor would not wake up from sleep until I also hooked up an HDMI in addition to the Thunderbolt cable. This has markedly improved my set up, both under Big Sur 11.1 and 11.2. When the HDMI link is driving the monitor, the Thunderbolt link still connects the 2 monitor USB ports to the M1. I use one of the monitor USB ports to provide power to an LED light.

However powering down the system and electricity to it over night, it had forgotten the display and monitor settings, similarly to what is described above.

Next I will try shutting down the system but not the extension cord to it.

I am also having this issue. Big Sur 11.2 MacBook Pro Late 2019 model, with a Benq sw271 4k 60hz monitor.

Will not recognize the 4k and defaults to 1080p mode. If I replug it a few times sometimes it will recognize. If I then turn the screen off / unplug / change anything, it will drop back into not recognizing properly.

Sometimes I can get it to stay consistently in 4k if I put the screen into 30 HZ mode.

Very frustrating. Has anyone tried rolling back to Catalina?

It's worth trying this. It worked for me with a wake-from-sleep resolution glitch.

Go to: /Library/Preferences/
Delete files: com.apple.windowserver.plist and com.apple.windowserver.displays.plist

Go to: ~/Library/Preferences/ByHost/
Delete files: com.apple.windowserver.XXXXXXXX.plist and com.apple.windowserver.displays.XXXXXXXXXX.plist

Empty trash. Restart.

My ACD 30 inch went black after 5 seconds with 11.2 (MacMini M1). Had to revert to 11.1, all good now.
