Macmini 2018.

Just updated from 11.3 beta 3 to 11.3 beta 8.
Took about 30 minutes, the update went just fine.
Seems to work just fine.

11.3 beta 8 is around 11.5 gig big, while (some) other 11.3 beta's were much smaller.
I am curious why the difference in size.

Happy Sidenote: i had 150 gig free on my macmini 2018 internal drive.
After updating to 11.3 beta 8 it is 154 gig. You won't hear me complain. :p

The jump from beta 3 to beta 8 is rather a big jump. I suspect that is why the size. Each single beta update is around 2 to 2.5 GB.

Another day another bug... Just found out when I plug my earphones in and then unplug them, Siri stops listening. It is like if it still tries to get the audio from the earphones. Telegram voice recording works. A reboot fixes it. I am on 11.2.3, does it happen on beta 8 too?

Siri gives me the creeps:

"When You Make Requests, Siri Sends Certain Data About You to Apple to Help Respond to Your Requests

When you use Siri and Dictation, the things you say and dictate will be sent to Apple to process your requests. In addition to these audio recordings, your device will send other Siri Data, such as:

• Contact names, nicknames and relationships (for example, “my dad”) if you set them up in your contacts
• Music and podcasts you enjoy
• Names of your and your Family Sharing members’ devices
• Names of accessories, homes, scenes and members of a shared home in the Home app
• Labels for items, such as people’s names in Photos, Alarm names and names of Reminders lists
• Names of apps installed on your device and shortcuts you added through Siri"
