Hi

After upgrading to Big Sur 11.6 yesterday, I'm no longer able to close my MacBook Pro Lid and wake the external monitor connected via USB-C to HDMI. It was working just before the upgrade on 11.5.x and I've satisfied the requirements (connected to power and external keyboard and mouse)

Anyone else experiencing something similar?
Have tried resetting PRAM with no luck

Are you saying you're taking your MacBook Pro that's sleeping (lid closed) and pugging in the monitor and the monitor is not coming on? Or are you taking a MacBook Pro that's awake (lid open), plugging in the monitor, and then closing the lid and the monitor loses the signal?

thanks for the reply. I've tried both scenarios with the same result (external monitor not turning on).
Interestingly clamshell mode works intermittently on another user account on the same MacBook.
I've given up and got use to using it with lid open for now.
