If you are retouching a 15GB multi-layer PSD file = maybe not. If you like watching beach balls, you are most welcome

how about on the 13.3 w/ top specs? will it be able to install and run cs5 master collection w/o any hiccups?

So I should avoid buying the new macbook air? I know my previous desktop computer (2,8 ghz core2duo, 4 gb ram) had problems saving non-resized pictures taken by my Nikon D90.

If you're set on a MBA get the maxed out 13" MBA with 256SSD 4GB and fastest CPU 2.13GHz

Otherwise get a MBP

My 15inch MBP 2.4 is ok on Canon EOS1D Mk 4 RAW files and I'm also hoping the maxed out 13inch Air can replace it with a similar speed due to the SSD. Need to save some space and weight in the bag.

Oi Oi Oi, even the maxed out MacBook Pro won't run CS5 Master Collection "without hiccups".

But I'm sure it will be a pleasant experience as long as you stay away from extensive video editing.
