i guess its that his ram is recognised as 1067mhz when it should be 1333mhz

Under SL for the 11.6 MBA, the speed is 800 Mhz. Just wondering if anyone else is seeing this if anyone is else is running the Lion GM

The speed of the ram is 1067. Try checking the specs before wasting everyone's time.

He was correct, the RAM itself is 1067Mhz but it cant be used at that speed due to the FSB.

You mean the fsb is 800 mhz right?

The frontside bus is 800mhz, meaning that the RAM will be downclocked from 1067 to 800mhz.
There will be no difference when you have Lion, because these are physical restrictions, and an OS update dosnt change that.

Also under SL dosnt it state that the RAM is 1067 aswell!?? under the system profiler?
