I hope for it every single time and for some reason they never include it.

A setting where you can turn off the music shuffle feature so completely you never have to worry about activating it accidentally and then only realising when your favourite 70's concept album is playing in totally the wrong order and you can't do anything about it because you are blasting down the freeway.

Come on Apple, it's not a big ask...

I didn't say regularly.. I just say that I never ever, ever intentionally use shuffle and it's not a big ask to be able to disable the thing completely.

I'm hoping for a toggle to disable a future global shuffle toggle disable. That way, I won't accidentally reactivate global shuffle, resulting in me accidentally playing music with the shuffle feature. I'm thinking they could call it "shuffle off, shuffle off".

Uh? Issue resolved with Android Audio decks and CarPlay decks, you interface with the radio in your car not your phone so you can pay attention to what’s in front of you.
