My question is, on the 12.9” screen when it’s in landscape mode do you get more horizontal content or is the content the same as on any other iPad? I ask because I am considering the 12.9” iPP. I am a sports junkie and live on CBSSports.com

On my 1080p monitor I will follow a football or NBA game not televised in my area. When viewing the “Gametracker” I will get the Twitter feed on the right side of the screen. On my 9th gen iPad that Twitter feed doesn’t exist. It’s on left side where I can toggle between Play by Play, Box Score or Twitter. I’m trying to figure out if I get more horizontal real estate on the 12.9” iPP in landscape mode?

much depends on how the media provider chooses to send the data to you. Personally, I use my 12.9 in the landscape position 100% except for a rare occasion when I use FaceTime.

But in this instance the Media Provider has nothing to do with what’s displayed on the screen because the webpage is being produced by CBSSports.com. My Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ looks identical to my 1080p monitor when following a live game on their website. The aspect ratio on the Samsung is 16:10 whereas the aspect ratio on the 12.9” iPP is 4:3

Edit: I decided to go with the M2 11" iPP. It's $250 less and has the same aspect ratio as the 12.9" iPad. Also the weight of the iPad was another consideration as I already find the Galaxy Tab S7+ a big boy tablet.

Well to my surprise I do get the full layout on the 12.9". So the Twitter feeds of the Live action are on the right while the play by play are on left. It's all there and for me it's great because I get to watch highlight plays when i'm not watching the game on TV. The 11" showed the same amount of information as my 9.7 and 10.2 iPads did. I returned the 11" M2 Pro and purchased the 12.9" from Apple.
