The thick of it
Here's an article where several analysts say that the iPhone has blown away their conservative sales estimates.

But what really caught my attention is that the article mentions someone supposedly paying $12,000 for an iPhone on ebay. I guess that person never heard of the Apple online store....

Thats funny because in a few months everyone and their dog will have one, just like the iPod.

So true...I went to go buy one today...just missed buying it...(I was ONE person away from getting it :( ) And the guy in front of me was with his daughter, and she was about 8, and he bought her the 4 gig, and the 8gig for himself....so ya EVERYONE will have one, even 5th graders....

Wow people are idiots. If I weren't on a T-Mobile contract, I would have just ordered the iPhone online at apple.com! Pros to ordering online: No lines, no frustration, and no overpriced eBay ripoff. Cons to ordering online: The wait.

I understand wanting an iPhone RIGHT NOW

I had that bad urge two days ago. I was willing to drive 100 miles to get one.

But my god....$12.5k?

That is absurd....that is 20+ iPhones for goodness sake!

That is just ridiculous. A 5th grader hardly needs a cell phone, let alone an iPhone.
