i was advised a while back that 12.1 was the time to update for those looking to jailbreak. What do you guys think? Currently jailbroken on 10.2. I know no one knows for certain about when or if a jailbreak will come out, but would 12.1 be the safest version to stay on?

You are never safe until a jailbreak is released. My advice is always to stay on a jailbroken device until you KNOW you can upgrade and jailbreak again.

That's what I've always done, up until the ios11 jb where due to being busy and such a short window for Apple signing that version, I missed out.

Don't wanna miss out on a possible 12 JB.

Truthfully, you're not missing much on 11 JB... Once your phone reboots it's a BI$^H to re-jailbreak. I'm getting a bit sick of it now.

I wish it was. With the Electra Jailbreak, you have to continuously try to jailbreak until EVENTUALLY it takes. In the beginning it took me roughly about 2 - 3 attempts and it will successfully jailbreak, nowadays it takes up to 20 tries... I have kinda given up on this jailbreak. As soon as my phone reboots again I will go to iOS 12.
