12.9 iPad Pro Smart Keyboard letter not working

I can’t tell you which letter is not working because IT’S NOT WORKING!! It’s the letter after “O” in the alphabet. When I strike it nothing occurs either small case or big case. I guess I’ll be making going to the Genuis Bar.

By chance have you disconnected the keyboard and reconnected? Or perhaps rebooted? Used to happen from time to time on my 9.7 inch pro

Yes I tried this and it didn’t resolve the issue.

OK I just learned how to envoke the soft keyboard while using the Smart Keyboard in order to type the letter “p”. This is a temporary fix until I can get to the Apple store.
