If you are worried about the base 64gb, which I would be, brings it to $849 vs $999 128 for 128.

but at face value, base, $200 leap doesnt seem worth it to me.

whereas I could justify $300 leap for the Pro max where its bigger battery, I think some better camera sensors maybe, and huge screen on top of the aforementioned

Also Pro have different displays, Lidar, better zoom in photo and video, Apple ProRAW, Night mode portraits and Dolby Vision HDR 60 vs 30fps.
Many small details to differentiate the products.

IMO the leap last year was bigger and the pro wasn't very attractive for people who didn't mind the size of the 11.

Pro displays are slightly brighter, but that appears to be the only difference. Camera and stainless steel are the big ones. Rumors also suggested that the Pros will have more RAM, but that won't be confirmed until some customers get their hands on these phones.

  • iPhone 12 Pro - Up to 17 hours video playback, 11 hours streamed, 65 hours audio

Dont understand how this can be so, with Pro having a brighter display and presumably the same sized batteries - no?

I guess the question is would it be worth leaping to the Pro, for the 128gb base and the other mentioned features? for peopel in the 6.1" market

Likely rated at a standardized brightness that is still achievable by both phones.
