Hi hope all are well!

As you can see here the 12" MacBook had two "Golds", the V1 Gold and the V2 gold, which was very short in production. Very interesting to me as it's a lesser known fact. Then, we saw gold on the airs and M1s forward.

So the main question here is, is the V2 gold or 'warm gold' used on the 12" MacBooks and shown in the image above, different than the M1 air gold (and forward)? Did the gold ever change amongst the M1-M4 units?

From googling and looking at images, it actually seems to more closely resemble the V1 Gold, but some complain that it's too pink. It's also possible it's different entirely than any of those, somewhere between the V1 and V2 gold. What do you guys see from your experience?

Thanks in advance!

Gold V2, know as Gold 2018, is the same Gold from:
- Apple Watch S3 Alu, S4, S5, S6, S10, SE1 and SE2, and some sport band pins (White, Sand, Pink, Blue) but chromed;
- iPad mini 5 and iPad Air 3, iPad 7 and 8;
- iPhone 8 and 8 Plus;
- iPhone dock;
- MacBook 12 2017-2019; MacBook Air 2018, 2019, 2020 (for 2020 both Intel and M1);
- iMac M4 orange Accessoires and alu parts (stand, Keyboard, mouse, trackpad);
- AirPods Max orange USB-C.

The V2 it’s like copper, but with low light appears more pink.
In years I’ve bought one of every product Apple made in that Color ‘cause I’m mad with it, and I don’t buy anything from Apple in other pink (only a iPhone 13 mini 512gb ‘cause I don’t like iPhone 6 and its sons like iPhone SE3).

Wow thanks for responding! I was just thinking of this and thinking of reposting today

Well, the macbook 12 2017-2019 you mentioned doesn't exactly exist. You must mean 2015-2017

And if the m1 gold is close to the v2 gold as you say, the question is, is the gold used amongst m1-m4 the same?

Thanks all!
