12"PB -> MacBook migration question

I'm going to move from a 12" Powerbook to a MacBook soon, and I want to use the Migration Utility. Do you know if transferring Apps will transfer things like iPhoto which is non-universal on the PB, and overwrite the MacBook's universal app?

I can't imagine it would, but as some of you have had experience in this process, I wanted the definitive answer first.

recently did the same thing, ibook G4 --> macbook. No, the assistant will not overwrite anything on the macbook; it will only move apps that are on the PB but not the macbook. Works perfectly.

no problem, enjoy the macbook. I've never been happier with an apple purchase. They really are amazing upgrades over the G4 laptops.
