I was looking for a case for my iPod Classic (120gb). I really like the idea of being able to have a silicone case on my iPod and a hard case on that. I found the iSkin Claro (click here) which I thought was great! But I don't care for the non-removable beltclip/stand. I don't use either often enough to want it attached to my case, permanently. My question is, does anyone know of anything out there without the beltclip attached?

Also, if I were to just buy a pack of their "slims" (slims), is there a clear case I'd be able to use with one of these on my iPod? If I purchased a clear case for say, a 160gb iPod, would it fit over top? Thanks in advance for all of your help. :D

I had the Evo for my 5G and it ruled. It keeps moisture out, which killed my previous one, and it's tough. The freakin' thing actually bounced a little like a ball when I dropped it once.
The membrane over the scrollwheel actually made it more controllable to me. Fewer slips and a quick response.
The beltclip is removable. I never used it. A few peeps on Amazon said they'd broken the clip easily, so consider that if you actually want a clip at all.
There's also a little cut-out flap at the bottom that blocks water and dirt from the dock-connector.
The only flaw that bugged me, was how even though it fits any of my small, average-sized headphone jacks, the bulky grip at the base of my Grado SR-80's was too wide to go flush, so I cut a few millimeters of extra diameter for them with a razor. No biggie, but if you wanna use huge home-intended cans, consider this.
I did a lot of comparison shopping, to find this, and I cannot recommend it more highly.

I did look at the Evo also. Is the whole thing encased in plastic, or just the front part? I couldn't tell from the pictures. I was assuming it was just the front, especially since you said it bounced a little when dropped. :D I am seriously considering one of those. How did the clip work? It looks as though the back of the case is silicone only, and that the clip could rip right off of it. So many questions, I know. But I appreciate the help from someone who's owned one before.

i just got my 120 classic and i bought the incase 2 piece hardshell casing. The back of the case is nicely textured and seems to be pretty resillant to keys, change. But the screen protecter side gets a little scrached up (if you watch moves its not not be the best) but its super light weight...protects the body from scratches, dust and everyday dirt. It's not very durable so be careful
