120gb ssd

Hi,

I am searching for a new ssd for my mac mini mc816. Currently i've installed 60 gb agility 3.
But decided that i need more space on disc.

Please help me to decide which one to purchase ( I need 120 GB ):
- OCZ Vertex 3 Max IOPs SSD 120GB
- Corsair Force Series GT 120GB
- Crucial M4 128GB
- Kingston HyperXR 120 GB
- Team Xtream S2 120GB
or
- OCZ Vertex 3 120 GB

Top of the SSD heap is the Samsung 830 IMHO.

because i don't need more than 120 GB and want my system to work as quite as possible...

As an ex manager of IT guys it's precisely such head shaking that makes me glad I'm now a speech therapist.:)
 
This Forum should be renamed, MacSmartAlecs - what a bunch of duff replies.

Wow, hell's teeth, he made mistake and mentioned memory instead of storage oooh. Obviously a Capital offence in the US volodymyrqa.

My choice would be Crucial, here in England they are very good and if there's a problem they'll try to help or let you return it - that's based upon my experience FWIW.

And you'll notice that I had indeed answered his question, not just took a swipe. Forums also full of folks that get their panties in a wad pretty quickly too :)
 
It's such a common error, non ted. folks wills ay to me.."I'm running out of space I need more memory" explanation after explanation seems to fail. I even showed an HDD and a memory module to a buddy a while back...He still doesn't get it!

OP I'm waiting for a relaible 500GB+ SSD before I fuss around with the smaller ones...It's not worth the hassle. If your are short on Hard Drive space, buy a cheap[, fast HDD.
