What are the odds we get a mid-cycle 128 GB version of either the iPad Air or iPad Mini?

My Mini 4 is showing signs of its age, and I'm ready to upgrade. But 128 is the sweet spot for me.

Yeah I'd say the chance is close to 0. My guess is the Air will be upped to 128 GB in the next version (it's about time for it actually)

I thought one of the iPad models - although I may be thinking of the iPhone 8 - got a mid-cycle bump from 64 to 128.

The only issue with 256 is the added cost for space I probably don't need. I could probably make 64 work, but it would get old after a while managing space. My Mini 4 is 128, which is perfect for me.

I just pre-ordered the new MacBook Air, so I'm in a buying mood. But my best option is probably to hold on to my Mini 4 awhile longer and wait for a 128 Mini 7 or Air 6.

1st-gen iPhone SE got a mid-cycle storage bump from 16 and 64 GB to 32 and 128 GB respectively while pricing remained the same.

No way they will release a 128 GB M1 ipad air as part of a mid cycle refresh. It will massively cannibalise into the Ipad Pro M1 sales. Apple knows this very well.

64gb should only be in the kids iPad 9. Shocking you have to pay near $1kAUD for a mini and over $1100 for a air With more GB.

I went ahead and ordered a 256 GB Mini 6. I still wish there was a 128 option, but at least I can download all my music and books without worry.

Considered an Air, but the Mini is pretty much the perfect form factor for me. And playing with one at the Apple store, I noticed the jelly scrolling, but it didn't really bother me.
