128 or 256 vram?

I'm thinking about switching from pc to mac. I want to buy a 20" imac core duo with 1G of memory. I want to know if I should go for the 256 vram or stick with the 128. I'm going to do some photo editing in photoshop and maybe play a game. No video editing in the near future. Is the extra vram worth it? thanks

If you got the cash, get 256MB vram, you'll never be able to upgrade it again...

Just like lilstewart said, if you can get the 256. But the only reason you would need it is if you are doing gaming or RAW image processing. I have 128 in my iMac (and 64 in the laptops) and everything is fine. But in the PowerMac I have 512 because I use that with RAW photo editing, the extra memory just makes everything run so smooth (when you are scrolling and zoomed in on the photo you don't get the pixel-like boxes, it just goes smooth).

EDIT: I would definitely get the 256 if you plan of using dual screens with the iMac.

512...I'm envious
I have the 128 in my Intel iMac just because of some trouble getting the 256 at first, so I bought from Amazon and 128 was it. If you can get the 256 (wait for it) then get it since it's really cheap to upgrade to it.
