What would the educational discount on a 12" PB bring it down to?

you can check the education apple store online to see what it comes down to, and you have to show your school ID if you buy in store
You need to go to the education store for your school. They've never asked me for ID online but they could. I believe they ask for copies of your ID and course schedule.

I can't tell you if it is normal to feel MORE action on the Powerbok than an iBook, but depending on what I'm doing I feel the hard-drive working under my left palm. As long as it isn't too loud or obnoxious I wouldn't worry about it. Can you more accurately describe what you are experiencing perhaps? And what exactly are you doing at the point in time you are experiencing such activity?

Both are normal. The hard drive is directly under the left side of the palm rest on a 12" PB. As for the rocking, I've found that a lot of times I get tricked by that. My PB isn't uneven, but a lot of tables are.
