Has anyone noticed inferior quality with the front camera and FaceTime calls? I have been told my picture is grainy and much worst than 2018 11 inch. This is in an evening with just lamps on but was never an issue before.

This is likely due to the new ultrawide camera. if you go into the camera app and click on the two outward pointing arrows you can see it crops in from a much wider field of view now. I agree the camera quality needs improvement badly and I am disappointed it seems the same since they introduced Center Stage a few years ago on the M1 iPads.

I think the front facing camera is better on my MacBook Air m2
