I have a 2017 13 inch Macbook Pro without touchbar. It originally came with a 61 watt power brick. I've installed Coconut battery and I've noticed that when its plugged in and charging it never pulls more than 45w from the adapter. I even tried running geekbench and some videos in the background, but it still won't pull more power. Does this specific model not charge using the full 61 watts? Something else?

Does anyone know how to tell what USB-C PD profile my MBP has negotiated with the charger?

Are you using an in-line meter? Coconut isn’t able to tell you what the adapter is outputting. If the full 61W goes to charging, then what’s left to power the display and logic board?
